FBINA Session #256-Week 6

Week 6- This week has been fairly normal, since last weekend I went to Gettysburg to explore some Civil War Battlefields.  I have been continuing with all of my classes, developed a routine for living the academy life, and started counting down the days since I am now half way through the session.

The running motto here is that every Wednesday which is designated as Challenge Day is "White Brick" day.  It has snowed here every Wednesday to include this week.

This weeks Challenge is "Wicked Witch Hunt" which consists of:

1. Run 0.5 miles, then Lunge Walk x 50 (25 Each leg)
2. Run 0.25 miles, then Bear Crawls (Headfirst uphill and downhill) x 3
3. Run 0.25 miles, then 20 Burpees
4. Run 0.25 miles, then 20 Mountain Climbers
5. Run 0.25 miles, then 20 downhill pushups
6. Run 0.25 miles, then Crab crawl up hill and down + 20 Dive Bomber pushups
Finally run to 0.25 miles to finish line.

This all occurred with falling snow and approx. 8 inches on ground.

On Wednesday our session had its first planned enrichment speaker attend after a previous scheduling conflict.  The speaker was Commander (Ret) Kirk Lippold, USN who was the Captain of the USS Cole during the bombing attack at the port of Yemen. Commander Lippold spoke about the incident and included leadership values he learned and observed from fellow Sailors during the attack.

I have been completing my homework assignments and presented a power point for shift scheduling to one of my classes in Contemporary Issues.  This weekend I am going to pick up my Chief of Police on Sunday, since he is attending a Chapter President's meeting for the Oklahoma FBI NA Chapter.
