Tissue!!!

This girl needed a tissue and just couldn't wait around for us to help!  My sister told me girls are not like boys, but I must say she gets into just as much as they did!

Every now and then...

Every now and then you get a "good job" as a teacher.  Being a high school teacher those come less and less.

Yesterday I got one and it really meant a lot!  I try to impact all the kids that come into my room in some positive way.  My sports and entertainment marketing class takes field trips, which means making arrangements for the kids and sacrificing family time.  Teenagers don't get what that means a lot of the time, you remember living for the weekend!

One of my students, Clay Mattox, went to a hockey game with me this year and got a puck from one of the players.  He gave me this today...

The back is all about us being opposites...he liked OSU and the Green Bay Packers.  This kid is so thoughtful!

We have a dancer!

Today after school we stopped by Target and I found this table on clearance.  Kloe loved it as soon she saw it so I HAD to get it :)

All I can say is we definitely have a dance on our hands!  She loves to clap, smile, and dance!  She brings so much joy to our entire family!

ER Trip

Tonight we had our first trip to the ER for Miss Kloe.

The story goes like so (according to the 6 year old and 4 year old living in our house)... Ethan slipped and landed on a truck that flipped up in the air and landed on her head.

I mean it is a little far fetched, but honestly they did not have enough time to put together a story, so I'm thinking there is truth to it!  Caiden was crying, Ethan looked like a deer in headlights.  I had to calm them both down and get them to help me.  Poor Kloe had blood running all down her face, I couldn't tell if she had a wound on her eye as well.  It turned out to just be a cut on her head...thank goodness!

There was lots of blood due to the head wound, but after I got it to stop and cleaned up it didn't look so bad.  The part that bothered me and why we ended up in the ER was the selling on her head.  She ended up needing a stitch, so they put some steri strips on the cut and told us to just wake her up every 2 hours tonight.

Not too bad of a record with 2 older brothers that her first trip was at 9 1/2 months!!

Jumpin'

Caiden is getting so brave!  He LOVES his new 4-wheeler!!!  Today he asked if he could jump off the pile of dirt :)  It is so funny to see his face after he makes the jump.  

Standing...

This little 9 month old cutie is standing now!  She loves to pull up on things, mostly me :)  We have had to lower her crib mattress to the lowest level because I randomly catch her standing in her crib now.  I walk in and she has such a big smile on her face :)

Watch out brothers she will be crawling in no time!!

Ringing in 2013!

This year daddy was off so we decided to ring in the new year with all the families we love! Avers', Barlow's, Hoke's, Reid's, Bedell's, and Green's!

We had 7 families with about 18 kids total.  It was complete and udder chaos, BUT SO MUCH FUN!  There was tons of food, lots of laughs, and fellowship!!

We rang in our new year at 10 pm with sparkling grape juice and champagne, party favors, and tiaras and hats! Then it was clean up and bed :)

Now this sweet girl called it a night way earlier than the rest of us, so she celebrated the next morning :)

God has blessed us this year beyond belief!  We can't wait what he has in store for the Brown Family in 2013!!
