they are a reward from Him."

OU BBALL!!!

The boys have been buggin us about going to a Thunder game.  So we decided to try cheaper tickets and go to an OU game before we splurged.  Needless to say we won't be going to a Thunder game with them for at least another year :)

Our fabulous friends The Reid's joined us for the fun!  First things first, filling up our bellies!  Daddy decided on Red Robin and boy was it good!
The game was a McCasland Field House against Texas A&M Corpus-Christi, needless to say it was a blow out.  The kids all got slinkys, and let me just say that was a disaster!  They were every where!

They all had to go get candy right after the game started.  To get all 4 kids candy it was $13, so they had to share! Then you had the bathroom twice, drinks and popcorn, along with the disagreements and whining

We were all ready to go by the time the game was over :)

Now as for this girl, our OU Cheerleader, she was the best one!  She played, ate, and cheered.  There was no crying!  She will be allowed to attend another game in the future :)

Santa Delivered!

Getting ready for Santa was a funny time this year.  Ethan wanted to do nothing but watch cartoons (surprise!) and Caiden wanted to rush around and get everything set up.  These two are so different in nature!

We finally talked Ethan into helping with the reindeer food, or Santa's flying forces as he refers to them as.  Some ended up on my floor of course!
OUR SWEET BABY GIRL'S 1ST CHRISTMAS!!!
Caiden and Ethan have been so excited the entire month of December and it has been hard to keep them under wraps.  So the night before was no easy task to keep the boys calm.  I even tried the old trick of skipping nap to really tire them out!

Well that trick worked for Ethan, but Caiden woke up in the midst of Santa setting up for the next morning.  I tell you what we have a very inquisitive 6 year old on our hands that is also very determined!  Or the simple version NOSEY!

I felt kinda bad because Caiden even started crying because he just couldn't close his eyes to go to sleep because he wanted to see Santa and he knew Santa wouldn't come if he didn't go to sleep.  What was a boy to do??  But of course sleep with mommy and daddy :)

Santa was hit the spot this year for both boys!  Ethan got all his Vtech Dinos and Rescue Bots, while Caiden got his 4-wheeler. Kloe loved her new vanity (she is like her momma when it comes to looking at herself :)
This year we did SC gifts and stockings, then we opened all the other gifts.  The Brown's and Ted couldn't come up because of weather, so we saved those for when we could all get together.

Needless to say they sat still long enough for me to take this pic and then it was like a crazy unwrapping frenzy!  Caiden and Ethan have it down by now, but daddy helped Miss Kloe along with hers!
Like I mentioned earlier Caiden got a 4-wheeler.  Poor guy really learned what patience was all about! Because the weather was so bad he had to wait till later the next day to ride.  He was on top of the world!  Daddy had to keep him from going crazy on it!

Mustache

Dad's mustache is the joke of our family.  We harass him all the time about it and request him to shave it.  Most of his gifts revolve around the subject.  So grandma and grandpa Markham thought it would be funny for all the kids to get into the mustache mode...

Letters to Santa

Caiden is getting better and better with his writing (I like to think he takes after his mommy on this one, but his daddy has great handwriting too!).  This year he took it upon himself to write letters to Santa for him and Ethan.  I think they turned out great!!  The boys and daddy mailed them off just the other day.  Old Saint Nick should be getting the Brown boys requests soon :)

Santa, Bass Pro, and Lights!

Today we were a busy little family!  We decided to go and visit Santa and the best place is Bass Pro.  Overall the trip went great, minus the bird pooping on my head as we got out of the suburban (no exaggeration!)!  Kloe didn't cry as long as she could see me and both the boys knew exactly what they wanted to tell Santa so it went pretty fast!
Afterwards we walked around and saw the sights.  Ethan discovered the animal prints and led us on a hunt to find all the animals.  While Caiden and John looked at guns and ATV's.  The difference in them amazes me more everyday :)  Kloe was along for the ride and wasn't too impressed with it all...
We did get a pic of all them with the giant bear by the giant fish tank. (I slowly realize as they all grow how much harder having all 3 of my children in a picture is going to be!)
After all the fun at Bass pro we headed over for some food and fun at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Then we finished up the night looking at the lights in Yukon and riding the trains through them.  Perfect ending to a perfect family date night!
