they are a reward from Him."

Parties Galore!

Thor and Spiderman did not officially go trick-or-treating this year.  Instead they attended 3 parties!
They had 2 on the Saturday before.  The first one is at their favorite place, you guessed it, Cowboy Church.  They had a costume contest that Ethan wanted no part of, games, winnie roast, smores, and pinata.

It was very windy that day and pretty cold.  Once the party started though the boys were good as gold.  They figured out real quick what games to play to get the candy the fastest...little stinkers :)
All the kids were so excited about the pinata.  It was definitely a dangerous situation:)  First they broke the pinata stick, then all they could find was a long metal pipe..YIKES!  But all the kids got multiple turns and no one got their eyes poked out!
Saturday night our Lifegroup leaders The Taylor's had a huge party at their house.  WE invited all of our friends.  They said that what they counted off memory there was over 150 people there!  WOW!

The kids had a blast.  They had a haunted forest, bobbing for apples, food, games, candy, smores, and so much more.  They definitely know how to throw a party :)
Last, but not least both Thor and Spiderman had school parties.  Daddy is so lucky this year because he gets attend all of the parties at school!  He is such a trooper.  The boys love having him come up to their school.  This time daddy only remembered to get a picture from Ethan's party.  They all had a blast and came home wired up on sugar!  Gotta love holidays :)

Pumpkin Patch

This year we went to TG Farms for out pumpkin patch experience.  Since there was the drought this year it was slim pickings for sure, but we made the best out of it!

They had a cool hay slide area.  The boys and even John got in on the action!  I really thought John was going to get stuck, but to my surprise he didn't :)  They also had a petting zoo (well I wouldn't have  called it a petting zoo more like a look at the animal zoo), but the boys liked seeing the animals.
Then we tried the corn maze.  Let's just say that was a little crazy when you have a 3 year old and a 5 year old leading your way :)  We did make it out alive and well!
They also had a few areas for games and rides.  Ethan was still a little short to ride the 3-wheelers, but he loved the horse swing.  We rode the hayride together as a family and the boys roped before we went out to pick our pumpkins.  Overall it was a great family afternoon!

Officer Day at School

Every year the boys get to learn about community helpers.  This includes firefighters, doctors, police officers, etc.

This year Sergeant Prigmore brought his motorcycle up for the kids to see.  Ethan was totally pumped to get on.  Luckily his teacher sent this one to me :)
