God Speaks

Today I heard this video on my friend's blog (click here to see it) and it was so moving.  Especially after hearing the news about that man who was murdering babies after they were born.  God spoke through Mr. Langford and I pray that our leaders will hear His words and be softened!  Praise the Lord for a good Christian man who spoke the words on all Christian's hearts in such a touching way!

The boys truly adore their daddy (especially when they are in trouble...yeah I am the mean one around here)!  Just look at these silly grins...

Family Fun...Kinda

Our sunday school class decided to have a New Years Party at the local skating rink.  The Avers' graciously rented out the entire rink for us to all have fun and fellowship.  Needless to say it was an experience  for the Brown Family, just take a look.

Caiden was super excited to go.  We had them wear their bicycle helmets and the knee and elbow pads Grandma and Grandpa Markham got them for Christmas...safety first :)

The skating part turned out to be more of a challenge then I originally thought.  Ethan did better than Caiden, but did not really like it as much.

John didn't put any skates on, obviously someone had to help Ethan and he drew the short stick!  No I'm just kidding.  I used to go to the skating rink  a lot when I would go visit my dad in Alaska, so I was reliving my glory days of racing and ruling the floor.  John was happy to let me do it after he saw what a fool I was making myself out to be.  They say some things get harder when you get older and let me reassure you skating is one of them!
