Carnival & Snowcones

To celebrate the 4th we hit up the carnival in Bethany this year with the Reid's.  This was the first "official" outing for our family with friends since daddy has come home.  The super big slide was the biggest hit along with the giant obstacle course.  Let's just say the boys slept the entire night through!  Natalie was the adult that "volunteered" to ride all the rides with the kids that needed an adult with them.

They all raced each other down the slide more times than I could count!
The motorcycles were another big hit with the boys for obvious reasons :)
Now the next ones can either be dinosaurs or dragons depending on how you look at them.  I say dinosaurs.  Ethan felt like a big boy on this one!
Future wife?  We will have to see...
Going for the older woman...
As you all know food at these gigs are a rip off so we went to a local snow cone stand to top off a great night with the kids.  It was a complete mess as you can imagine, but enjoyable all the same!

Daddy even felt like a kid again!  He is a juice hog ad kept stealing it out of every one's cup.
The kids were WIRED on the way home and we were both left thinking that the snow cones so close to bed time was NOT a good idea, but soon after baths the boys crashed.  It was a great night with some great friends!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!  THANK GOD FOR OUR FREEDOMS AND ALL THOSE WHO HELP PROTECT THEM!

Father's Day/Uncle Ted's B-day Party

This year we celebrated Father's day and Uncle Ted's birthday on the same day.  We cooked out steaks and ribs...YUMMY!  It was a crazy day because the boys get all riled up when everyone is together and they get all the attention (which they love they are my children remember!).  Lately it is so hard to get them take a decent picture...either they will not look at the camera or like you see below they are half dressed!
All the Brown boys pose for a quick pic.
Caiden is always willing to help anyone open a gift :)
Tried to get the 3 of them to pose...not happening this year!
Brothers who barely ever pose for a pic together too (must run in the family:)
We got Uncle Ted an ice cream cake and both the boys helped him blow out the candles.  Not sure if Ethan had enough air to make it all the way, but he tried!
Caiden wasted no time licking the candles!
Now you will see the attempts to take a "family" picture...not too bad except we are in pj's and a diaper...oh well at least they looked at the camera this time :)
They were all sugared up at this point...is it  obvious???

Uncle Ted AND his GUITAR are soooo COOL

Father's Day weekend Uncle Ted was able to make it up to visit all of us.  He always brings his COOL guitar and the boys LOVE IT!  Both of the boys really like listening to music and they fight over who will play the guitar that Uncle Ted got Caiden one year for Christmas.  When Uncle Ted is around with his really nice guitar Caiden only wants to play that one, so Ethan got the "kid" guitar all to himself!  But Uncle Ted likes to share and teach the boys (even though they are interested for minimal amounts of time) how to play a few notes.

Grandma even got in on the action to help Ethan out.

 Eat your heart out ladies!
Trying to keep up with Uncle Ted is a little difficult!
Now he is trying to play Uncle Ted's...we still need a little work!
